The following are from Lisa Ashton's Egyptian Gods group. In some pictures you can see the blue wiring which was used to light up the eyes. The close ups are of some of the textured embroidery, beadwork and embellishment of the black tunics (it's the Folkwear Egyptian shirt, in a full length).
The "Return of the King" group was led by Shanti Fader. It was a 1950s twist on the Lord of the Rings saga and used a Tom Smith son. Starting with Aragon as Elvis it had a batch of Poodle Skirted Groupies including Karen Purcell as Muffy the Stewardess of Gondor, Tom as the Tree Ent groupie and Shanti in a historically based 1950s prom dress.
Brian Healy's Gimli won Best in Show. It is one of the most film accurate recreations ever.
The following costumes were later presented as a larger group at Costum-Con 22, April 2004. In addition to Karen and Ricky, the group was expanded with Caitlin Dick, Carol Salemi and Stephanie Carrigg. At Costume-Con it won Best in Class Master Workmanship and Presentation.
