Below are collections of pictures of late 1800's dresses from the Museum of the City of New York and the “Gilded New York Exhibit” displaying items from the Gilded Age (late 1800s) as the primary draw. While few, there is an example of a formal dress and a party dress of the wealthy Upper Crust and two practical dresses of the working women. More pictures of the dresses can be found here: "Gilded New York" Exhibit; Museum's Description and Gallery.
