"Pat was the best masquerade MC in fandom -- bar none (including Marty). (Take a look at the video of the ConStellation masquerade, which he MCd). In fact, his license plate read "No 1 MC"! Pat and I co-chaired LASTcons T'ree and Fore (forerunners of Albacon). He was the ICG Vice-President from 1992 until his death in 1995 (see the list of past ICG officers on the ICG web site). He was a major force in the adoption in 1992 of the initial form of the ICG masquerade guidelines."
